Redmond Re-Lyte Hydration

Hydration is much more than drinking water. You NEED electrolytes too! There are MANY electrolyte drinks out there, but I really love Redmond’s ReLyte because the main ingredient is salt from an ancient sea bed in Utah.

The salt is unrefined and untouched by all the chemicals, microplastics, and such in today’s oceans. This is a great source of sodium and chloride and has many other trace minerals found in whole salt.

Another plus to this mix is it doesn’t contain any carbohydrates. This makes it even more appealing because unless I’m racing a long race, there really isn’t any need to be sucking down sugars and carbs for regular training runs and workouts. When I am racing, it is easy to mix in whatever carbohydrate I choose. That makes this a very flexible and in my opinion, a perfect solution!
