Long Island Iced Tea at Riverfront Seafood Company

Long Island Iced Tea at Riverfront Seafood Company

During prohibition in the 1920’s, a legend of an adult beverage was born. The creator was Mr. Charles Bishop who lived on Long Island in Kingsport, TN. His concoction of five liquors will definitely pack a punch!

There is now a dispute as to where the original Long Island Iced Tea was first created. You can read all about that and get the recipe for the original Long Island Iced Tea at the Visit Kingsport website. Here is the link: https://visitkingsport.com/longisland/

Now there is only one establishment where you can actually enjoy the view of Long Island, the Holston River, and actually have the original Long Island Iced Tea; that is at Riverfront Seafood Company.

Wayne at Riverfront told me about the Long Island Tea dispute and he wanted to do a little something special due to the fact that you can actually enjoy a view of Long Island and drink a Long Island Iced Tea right from the restaurant and is the only place you can do that! He has a variation of the original recipe you can try too– so go try both!

So here is a :15 clip that I made for Riverfront Seafood Company’s Long Island Iced Tea promotion (watch it in 4K and get ready to hit the watch again button because its only 15 seconds.)

Hope you enjoyed that and next time you’re in Kingsport, be sure to check out Riverfront Seafood Company!

Stay tuned for some goodness coming from me and this new camera.
